Porto Covo used to be a fishermen village has been developing throughout the years, preserving it's natural beauty of the quite streets with white houses. Porto Covo, one of the main beaches has easy acess and good infrastructures, protected from the wind and attractive for surfers.

Vast and beautiful beach considered to be one of the Wonders of Portugal. It's a big sandy beach that is about 4km from the village and during the summer months a 'road-train' runs between them. However, it isn't much faster than walking, and it's a lovely walk down to the coast.

Integrated in the natural park of Costa Vicentina, Zambujeira do Mar Beach is surrounded by high cliffs with a breathtaking panorama over the ocean. Besides being attractive for surfers due to it's famous swell, Zavial is covered by cliffs that help protecting the beach from the wind. It's very sought especially during the summer, althought the eastern side of the beach is far less and has been taken by naturists.

Next to one of the biggest cities of Algarve (Faro), it has clean and transparent waters. It's high cliffs provide the beach with some shade and picturesque view. It has excellent support facilities and a lifeguard supervising the beach.
